| On Monday the 6th march 2006 a group of ladies who
call themselves Klever K9's visited Stonecroft House to present a
cheque for £800:00 to the Sensory Garden fund. These ladies train
their dogs to do heel work to music. The dogs that visited the
home with them were Border Collies, crossbreed, Sheltie, and
Miniature Schnauzer, although back at training classes in Healing
near Grimsby they have a more varied variety of dogs who train with
them.
To raise the money the group and their dogs held an
auction, a sponsored walk, quiznight, dog show, summer fair and
demonstrations.
Similar amounts of money were also presented by the group to the
Grimsby Hospice and Lives.
We are extremely grateful to this group for this very generous
donation, and we hope they will visit us in the future to see how
the garden has been developed with this money. Shown below are
some photographs of the group, their dogs and the presentation.
