Sincere thanks to Grimsby Friends of Stonecroft who have been involved with fundraising and supporting Stonecroft House for over thirty years. Recently one of the Grimsby Friends Mrs Di Lilley celebrated her 80th birthday.  Di requested that instead of gifts, she would prefer to receive monies.  This resulted in Di being able to present to Stonecroft House a cheque for one hundred pounds to be specifically used for the Sensory garden.  Please click here to view photographs of Di presenting the cheque to Margaret Fotherby Service Manager at Stonecroft House.

Also Mrs Ann Turner Chairman of Grimsby Friends presented a cheque for five hundred pounds. This was in memory of Mrs Betty Hollingsworth who was also with Grimsby Friends supporting Stonecroft House for over thirty years.  This cheque was also requested to be used specifically for the Sensory garden.  Please click here to see a photograph.

 


Sincere thanks to Diane Patrick (Now retired) Service Manager for Stonecroft House who organised the auction at the “Thatcher’s” formally the (Stallingborough Grange)  Through Diane's efforts over £400:00 pounds was raised for the Sensory Garden fund.

 


Sincere thanks to Jackson Building Centres Ltd, Scunthorpe Branch for their generous donation of paving materials and tool hire.
 


Sincere thanks to the Colin Chamley Big Band and friends. The Colin Chamley Big Band  organised a Saint George's Day Grand Charity Dance at the Winter Gardens Cleethorpes on the 22nd April 2004.  Colin and friends visited Stonecroft House and presented them with a cheque for £820:00  from the proceeds of this dance to be used for the Sensory Garden project.  Please click here to see a photograph of some of the band and friends when they visited Stonecroft House to present the cheque.
