| Set in the beautiful North Lincolnshire countryside
midway between the towns of Scunthorpe and Grimsby, Stonecroft House is a Leonard Cheshire
Home. The home is a dual registered residential care and nursing
home that
supports disabled people, and there are currently twenty nine people
living there.
As well as being a residential home Stonecroft
House also offers respite care, with three rooms being available for
short stay visitors. This service offers a valuable respite for
disabled people and/or their carers.
A varied programme of activities are provided at Stonecroft
House with the aim of meeting everyone's interests. We have a
fully equipped activities room with the services of two activities
organisers, and we aim to meet everyone's interests. Currently our
residents enjoy cookery, crafts, gardening, painting, and computers.
Stonecroft House is a real 'home from home' and our philosophy of
care is to support residents independence, opportunity and choice.
All residents at Stonecroft House are encouraged to take an active part
in the running of the home through the residents committee.
